Oh boy do I have a good one for you!!!! Last month we had the absolute pleasure of staying at Sea Haven, a 12 bedroom 11.5 bath and pet-friendly home in North Topsail, North Carolina. This waterfront home sleeps 28 people comfortably, and comes with a host of luxuries. A pool, hot-tub, elevator, panoramic views of the sound from each level, located steps from the beach, and to top it off … it double as an event venue!
The entire first floor is a dedicated event space, with a bar and large dining area(s) that open up to the pool and back yard – the perfect space to create the event of your dreams. As you can see from the photos below, the back yard includes a large green space with a stunningly picturesque wedding arch – also, you have the sound as your backdrop which is so peaceful. Transform the space into a wedding, vow renewal or anniversary celebration, birthday party, brand party, work party, or bachelorette party! There are so many possibilities when you can book a home that doubles as an event-venue.

How our little family enjoyed the property
We went on this trip to relax, to hear the ocean, to feel the sand in between our toes, and enjoy that post-peak season quietness of coastal North Carolina. The home is steps from the beach access, so we spent nearly every waking moment at the beach with the kids (and pups). The water was warm, the beaches were empty, the snacks were plentiful and the vibes were good.
The home is about 6 minutes from Surf City, so we visited a couple of our favorite spots in the area for food while we were there. Unfortunately we missed Topsail Steamer (but a must do when visiting the area), but we certainly got our Daybreak Donuts and ordered take out from Santorini Greek and Italian Bistro – their Greek lasagna is my fav.
Next time we’ll have to bring all of our friends and family, because this home is certainly built to host a big crew! If you book an event or stay here, please let me know, I’m dying to see this place in action!
